Five on Friday

Even though I am retired I still wake up on Friday morning thinking TGIF. Crazy I know when every day is a weekend for me now, but old habits die hard. Here are five things from this week.

  1. Letting go of things you might regret. https://bemorewithless.com/regret-less/ this post gave me some food for thought.
  2. I procrastinate a lot about sharing my home projects online because my home does not look like the homes in magazines and on social media. I don’t have fancy new furniture and slick gadgets, but what I do have I love. Deema made a reel that encouraged me that it is ok not to be on with the trends, but to do what I love take a look at it here.
  3. Had a second taste of this gin at our local brewery last night, and just confirmed that it is really really good.
  4. Whale season is upon us again, and I have been loving our time on the whale deck watching them play. Note to self though, use the right tool for the job, your phone camera is not going to work well for this. Here is the lens I am dreaming of, although I might just have to win the lottery to own it!
  5. I recently finished this book by Patricia Wolf, which I loved. The second book in the series is also available, and I think I may have liked that even more than the first.
