The weeks have been flying by lately, I’ve been having to remind myself to slow down and be in the moment a bit rather than rushing on to the next task, but maybe I should just go with the flow so that when summer gets here I can slow down then and enjoy some lazy days in the sun.
- My daughter has been telling me for years that I need to read this book I finally did, and she was right, I should have read it sooner. A great adventure with a fresh feel.
- For the first time in my life I bought kholrabi in the grocery store, had no idea what to do with it, but googled this recipe, and now kholrabi is likely to be on the veg rotation a little more often.
- We have never watched a series when it was new and trending, we are always late to the party on that, so here we are 19 years later watching Californication. Definitely not family viewing!
- Speaking of 19 years ago… or even more in some cases, I’ve been delving back into the past on Spotify and have enjoyed immersing myself in music I loved in my younger years. U2 in particular has been heavy in the rotation and it has been a joy.
- We have now been in the new house for four weeks, and this week we started exploring our new home area. The beach is beautiful, and the entire village is flat so walking anywhere is so easy. I am looking forward to exploring more and really getting back to walking regularly. The photo of the rockpools at the top of the post is five minutes walk from our house.
