Road Trip – NSW Loop

After a busy summer of renovations, gardening, family visits, surf and sunshine we are ready to hit the road again. We planned a short loop through NSW for a change of scenery and a break from the everyday.

Our plan, drive to Lightning Ridge via Parkes NSW, then meander south east again till we get to Armidale. Between Armidale and the coast is the Waterfall Way. Hopefully there will be plenty of water flowing to make this a spectacular journey. At the coast we will settle in for a few days at Coffs Harbour and catch up with one of my oldest friends. We will be ready to breathe the sea air again. Next stop is the Hunter Valley for wine tasting! Then back down the highway home.

So not too ambitious but hopefully an enjoyable adventure to see a few places that are new to us. It will also be interesting to revisit some old favourites. We have just experienced a very cold few days, so here’s hoping the temperatures are warmer and we have some fine and sunny weather.

Day one of our trip, and the dramas it involved can be found here.
